Class Descriptions
Yoga OF THE DAY/YOGA FLOW (45-55M)
Yoga Flow is based on Kripalu Hatha Yoga; the 3 - stage method.
Stage 1: We acknowledge our presence. We notice where the body is opened or closed.
Stage 2: We begin to get into stronger and deeper postures.
Breathing seems easier. Postures come naturally and the mind is at peace.
Stage 3: We move into a deeper awareness.
With each class we feel stronger, more confident, focused and centered.
FIT YOGA (45-55M)
Get Fit using Yoga as a tool.
This class is similar to a Flow class. The difference is in the reps and added core
strength for glutes, abs, and strong backs. Reps and deep stretchs that twist and
turn massage and balancing the muscles and lengthen the spine helps us to have a strong core.
The class is still smooth and slow. Your encouraged to practice at your pace and level.
Open to all.
Kickbox Pilates/YOGA COMBO (45-55M)
Kickbox Pilates is low impact. The class builds on balance, strength, and stamina
with repeated kickbox reps and deep stretches to tone legs and glutes.
Pilates roll ups and teasers are incorporated for strong back and abs.
And pushups are added for upper body stregth and tone. We top the class with
Yoga stretch and balance for a complete body workout.
Beginners Sculpt and Stretch (45M)
These classes are for the total beginner. They are 45 minutes long, so you can begin slowly.
Each class has a different format to cross train muscles.
We will incorporate Yoga stretches, hand weights, resistance bands,
and Tai Chi for a total fit and focused workout. MEETS MON. WED. FRI. AT 11:00 A.M.
Yoga Express (30M)
Lunch time stretch and go in just 30 minutes. Feel toned, strong and fit.
Fight off afternoon fatigue and sleep better at night. MEETS MON. WED. AT 12:30
Express Fit 30 (30M)
Total body Work out in just 30 minutes! Pilates, Yoga, weights, and bands.
Total fitness for a longer, active life.
This is a great class for beginners and active older adults. MEETS MON. WED. THURS AT 4:30
Yoga for EVERY BODY (45M)
You can do Yoga! Feel better about yourself! Enjoy meeting others and have more energy.
Each posture is designed to strenghten, lengthen, and balance body.
Breathing exercises and meditation is practiced to stay focused on our goals. Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing. MEETS THURSDAY AT 5:30.
